I know it has already been more than a year, but Not a day goes by that i am not missing you or just randomly laughing just thinking of all of our funny memories. I wake up every morning hoping that you will be waking up next to me just looking around again, or walking down stairs to find you standing on a chair trying to reach something in the pantry so you didn't wake me up haha. You are forever my best friend and my sunshine! Can't wait to see you again Nani!

Dorothy was the first and best mentor I ever had. She taught me not only about nursing, but about life, and how its all about caring for others. She had a gentle spirit, but she knew how to unleash the dragon when it was necessary. She had so much patience! She showed me how to temper passion with wisdom, and never lost faith in me. I am a very fine nurse now, thanks in large part, to her influence and teaching. The world will be a little worse-off without her, but Heaven has gained a great Saint!

Dorothy was a very loving person. I was blessed to have worked with her, and fondly remember all the nights we shared our joys of raising our grown daughters and our grandchildren. I will always keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
