Helen Gonzales, 74, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 8, 2017. She entered this world on September 15, 1942, in Taos, New Mexico, born to Eutimio and Eufelia Medina. She grew up in Taos, New Mexico and Rock Springs, Wyoming. She met the love of her life in Taos while he was working at his brother in-law's gas station. She graduated and then married the man of her dreams on October 31, 1961. They moved to Santa Fe, Pecos, and then settled down in Rio Rancho.

Helen is proceeded in death by her father and mother; brother Albert; her father in-law, Jose; her mother in-law, Guadalupe; her brother in-law, Gus; her sister in-law, Mary Alice; and her loving husband Nicolas Gonzales Sr. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Rodriguez; brother, Raymond Medina; brother, Sam Medina; her daughter, Lisa Gatti (Robert); daughter, Margaret Gonzales; daughter, Frances Gonzales; daughter, Agnes Cordero (Ramon); daughter, Dolores Livingston; sons, Nick Gonzales Jr., Philip Gonzales Sr., David Gonzales (Jen); a special grandson that she raised from birth, Aaron Gonzales (Amanda) plus 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her in-laws, nieces, and nephews, and lots of cousins.

Helen was a busy housewife taking care of her kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids. She was a member of the Past Presidents of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and a member of the Church of the Incarnation. A Rosary Service will be held on March 16, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Incarnation. A Funeral Mass will be on March 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow immediately after. Burial will take place on March 21, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe., New Mexico.
