GORDON L. DICKSON
Age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. Gordon was born in 1932 in Buffalo, Minnesota to Melvin Benaford Dickson and Marie Gertrude Dickson. Gordon joined the Air Force in March, 1952 and was honorably discharged in November 1962. He met his wife, Henrietta, while he was stationed at the Air Force Base in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they were married on December 1, 1956 and had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Gordon and his family also worked at Sombre del Monte Christian Church for several years beginning in early 1969. While working there, the Dickson family became a part of the community where they met many long lasting friends and relations. Gordon loved sports and loved his family. He enjoyed playing golf with his children and enjoyed going to the casinos here in Albuquerque and in Las Vegas, NV.
